Annual maintenance of Lionstek smart waterjet machines

In order to keep the Lionstek smart waterjet machine durable, it is suggested that the customer should refer to the maintenance manual to carry out the annual inspection and maintenance.

The annual inspection includes: intensifier pump parts, precision worktable parts and electric control parts.

I.Follow the following steps in the maintenance of intensifier pump:

1. Check whether there is oil leakage in the high-pressure pump.If necessary, repair or replace faulty parts.

2. Check whether the hydraulic oil in the oil tank is sufficient and clean. If necessary, refill or replace it.

3. Check whether there is water leakage in the high-pressure pump. If necessary, repair or replace faulty parts.

4. Remove scale and oil accumulation around the oil tank to prevent corrosion.

5. Excess water in the accumulator shall be released to prevent the seal from damage due to prolonged shutdown time.

6. Check all joints of high-pressure pipeline for water leakage, including high pressure swivels. If necessary repair or replace faulty parts.

II.Follow the following steps in the maintenance of precision worktable:

1. Check whether the connection of ballscrews and ballscrew nuts, rollers and racks, and timing belt is firm. Otherwise, it shall be tightened.

2. Clean, with gasoline or diesel oil,ballscrews, guide rails, rollers and racks, and then add lubricating grease, and run the machine without cutting for more than 10 times after adding grease.

3. Check whether the bellows on X, Y and Z axes are broken or loose, and clean and maintain them to prevent dust from entering and damaging the motion parts of the machine tool.

4. Remove used abrasive and cutting debris deposited in the tank.

5. Check whether all the screws on the machine tool are tightened.

III. Follow the following steps in the maintenance of electronic control parts: 

1. Clear the unused processing data files in the host computer hard disk to prevent insufficient hard disk space and virus infection.

2. Remove the host compter cover, clean up the accumulated dust inside to prevent affecting the service life of internal parts.

3.  Remove dust from the controller to prevent affecting its service life.
