Product Introduction
Our self-proprietary USMART® software integrates CAD, CAM and CNC modules into a single user interface, with simple and easy operation;
USMART® software uses the soft cutting tool control method which takes the jet exit point as the control object. It has greatly improved the cutting efficiency of the waterjet, and effectively compensated for the inherent taper of waterjet cutting and the geometricals errors caused by jet dragging, so that using a waterjet, as a "soft cutting tool",to process precision machine parts become feasible and easy.
Because cutting models and advanced algorithms are used, programming in the “soft cutting tool control method” becomes very easy. Users only need to provide e-drawing of the part, select material from a list, and enter the material thickness. The smart software will take care of the rest of programming. The costly trials-and-errors for a new cutting job can be skipped. A new user can learn the software and start cutting parts on his first day of work. Job data of the cutting time, the amount of abrasive usage, the total length of cutting path, material size, and all other process parameters are readily available for job quotation, production planning, and job report.

Features | USMART® waterjet software is simple and easy to operate. A starting hole of the cutting path is automatically pierced. Corner-crossing features are automatically added. Cutting direction and path are automatically generated and optimized without manual intervention. Low pressure piercing is available. A database of common materials is provided, and custom materials can be added. Cutting speed is optimized by the interval of one motor step in the path. Tilting angles of the cutting head can be automatically optimized to eliminate the taper of the kerf and the error caused by the trailing of the jet. Cutting time, abrasive amount, cutting speeds, and path length are calculated in advance. Cutting can be paused at any time, and can be fast forwarded or rewinded along the path. When at fault, the machine is automatically paused, and can resume processing at the breakpoint. Lifetime free upgrades are offered for our smart waterjet control software. |
