Functional Descriptions

The optical locating device uses a high resolution digital camera. By dragging a circular cursor to overlap with a circular contour of the workpiece, or a cross cursor to align with a point at the workpiece, then by recording these coordinates in Lionstek's control software, the position and orientation of the workpiece can be determined. With a software function the drawing can be automatically adjusted to match with workpiece's position and orientation. It can be also used to locate the center of a circle, the vertex of a squared or non-squared corner, or to measure the diameter of a circle, the distance between two points, or the angle between two straight lines.
